LTE/SAE Patent Call

Following talks with the stakeholders in the Long Term Evolution (LTE) field worldwide that began in 2008, Sisvel has been committed to propose innovative solutions and flexible approaches to guarantee the success of an LTE pool.

Sisvel’s proposal has been positively received by a large number of Patent Owners. As evidence of such interest, the initial LTE/SAE pool facilitation meeting will see a uniquely wide participation from the Telco industry. Sisvel’s innovative approach has been key in attracting both large patent owners and smaller licensors including global telecom and technology leaders as well as major international LTE/SAE stakeholders.

The first facilitation meeting will be held on February 2nd and 3rd 2010 in Frankfurt and the main topics discussed will be focused on the formation of an LTE/SAE patent pool.

All parties holding a patent or patent application, which they believe to be essential for LTE/SAE, are invited to apply for a review of essentiality by an independent evaluator.
