Digital Video Broadcasting – Handheld (“DVB-H”) is the leading global technology standard for the transmission of digital television to handheld receivers, such as mobile telephones and PDAs.  The DVB-H standard is a superset of the very successful Digital Video Broadcasting – Terrestrial (“DVB-T”).  DVB-H was published as a formal standard (EN 302304) by the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (“ETSI”) in November 2004.
